Updating Your Testing Agreement

We understand that your course progression throughout the quarter may not be exactly as you planned when you initially filled out your Alternative Testing Agreement. Your Alternative Testing Agreement is intended to be an evolving document between you and the Testing Center where you can quickly relay a change in exam dates or allowances to our department. We utilize this document as our official resource for information on when you have assessments taking place and how you would like those assessments to be proctored.  

Ongoing updates to your Alternative Testing Agreement as needed throughout the quarter enable us to more efficiently process changes in exam scheduling/allowances across all the students in your course who are utilizing testing accommodations. Without these updates, students with testing accommodations may have delays in finalizing their accommodated exam scheduling or have different access to materials on their exam than students testing in the classroom. We appreciate your continued collaboration with us in creating an equitable and secure testing environment for students with testing accommodations by revisiting your Alternative Testing Agreement as needed throughout each quarter!

How to Update your Alternative Testing Agreement  

• Log into the MyDAC Faculty portal
• Acknowledge the FERPA information
• Navigate to Alternative Testing under the Home menu
• Navigate to DAC Alternative Testing Agreement
• Click on View/Modify Alternative Testing Agreement under the course you would like to make updates for  
• Make any necessary changes to the questionnaire and click Update and View Exam Dates
• If no exam dates changes are needed, click Back to List  
• To edit exam dates, navigate to List Exam Dates and click modify or delete  
• Make any necessary changes to the exam listed and click Update Exam Date   
• To add a new exam date, scroll down under List Exam Dates to Add Additional Exam Date  
• Fill out required information for your new exam date and click Save Exam Date 

If you teach more than one section of the same course, please remember to make these changes to the Alternative Testing Agreements for all of the sections.
