Online Exams

  • Online exams only need to be scheduled with the DAC if instructors specify that it must be proctored.  
  • Online exams that can be taken at home without proctoring do not require scheduling and the instructor will apply the needed accommodations before the exam.  
    • We recommend reaching out to your instructor prior to each online exam to ensure your accommodations have been added
  • If the Cavas exam must be proctored, the instructor should email drs@wwu.edu the passcode, if necessary.  
  • Instructors should also provide explicit instructions for what software and apps are allowed on each exam.
