About

Josef earned a doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Washington in 2018 and brings 15 years of experience working with, and advocating for, people with disabilities at non-profits, state agencies, and in higher education. His experience includes directing disability services at North Seattle College, rehabilitation counseling for the California Department of Rehabilitation and for Colorado’s Division of Vocation Rehabilitation, and work at the University of Washington’s Access Technology Center. He has also taught at Northern Illinois University, the University of Washington, and here at Western. Josef holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northern Illinois University.
