Scheduling Requirements

Midterms and Quizzes

Midterms and quizzes must be scheduled at least . . . 

  • 3 business days in advance
    • This means . . .
      • If the day of the exam is:
        • Monday, it must be scheduled no later than the prior Wednesday before 11:59pm
        • Tuesday, it must be scheduled no later than the prior Thursday before 11:59pm
        • Wednesday, it must be scheduled no later than the prior Friday before 11:59pm
        • Thursday, it must be scheduled no later than the prior Monday before 11:59pm
        • Friday, it must be scheduled no later than the prior Tuesday before 11:59pm
  • 5 business days in advance if using the following accommodations: private testing room, reader, scribe, remote proctoring, computer requiring specialized software
  • A business day is Monday through Friday and does not include weekends or holidays
  • We highly recommend that students schedule all their assessments in the beginning of the quarter to avoid late exam requests!

Final Exams

Final exams must be scheduled no later than the last day to withdraw from a class, as determined by the Registrar's Important Dates and Deadlines calendar.  

  • Fall 2025 = Sunday, November 9 by 11:59p
  • Winter 2026 = Sunday, February 22 by 11:59p
  • Spring 2026 = Sunday, May 17 by 11:59p
  • All Final exams must be scheduled in accordance with the Registrar's Final Exam schedule.  

Late Exam Requests

  • A quiz/exam is considered late if it is scheduled closer to the date of an exam than the scheduling requirements above. These scheduling requirements are set by DAC policy and your instructor cannot override this policy.
  • If you are scheduling a Late request due to reasons outside your control, such as a pop-quiz, your instructor did not complete the Alternative Testing Agreement in time, etc., please reach out to DAC Testing Center Staff.
